Flower in the Vase

My routine in the mornings is clockwork. I get up early. Drink my first cup of caffeine. Dress up. Gardening. It is a schedule that never fails, and I look forward to it.

Drinking coffee wakes me up. It makes me feel better, and ready for the day.

I like going through my recent accomplishment, the front yard garden, where I have rehabilitated almost somewhat finished. I have planted new grass, which alas are of different varieties. It is like a patchwork of carabao grass and some frog grass mixed together. This is because I tried two different sellers in Marketplace. I got fleeced! Sigh. Shrug. I also decorated it with some rock artwork. I like it. Anyways, I weed it almost everyday, as well as water it twice a day.

After watering Mount Kariopes, my mom once jokingly said, I weed and water the broken terracotta garden, which is my own design. This is to reuse the broken pots that I have found scattered around, and to control the weeds in the garden. I have been going on the mosaic tiles motif, but it is not, so I also added some of my rock artwork.

I water all the other plants, the older plants that my mom bought, our maid planted and my own addition, as well as the plants we sell here at Sprouts. I repot, prune and fertilize all of them. And afterward, when my face is dripping with sweat, my armpits damp, I go inside to rest, and eat breakfast with my mom. She would go out in the front yard, pick some flowers and put them in the vase on the altar.
