ABOUT

Sprouts started as a hobby-turned to a business that happened when CoVID Pandemic occured around early 2020. It was Yelle's brainchild to create a homebased online garden center. We started off with a Facebook account and by sharing and spreading the word, we were able to sell our first few plants to family, friends and village neighbors. Since then, we had grown and added to our product line, such as loam soil, soil amendments, pots, rock toppers, hand trowels and other gardening essentials.

We reached our first milestone of having over 500 plus Facebook followers, wherein we celebrated by giving away a Plant Kit to one lucky follower.

And now, we are launching our online website, hoping to share some product information, as well as, planting and growing tips.

We hope to reach out to our neighboring Plantita's and Plantito's, located south of Metro Manila.

Happy Planting!

San Francisco plants, also known as Crotons, are plants of the old. Growing up, we see them in our grandparents garden. It is a common shrub that they use as fencing, or border plants. They are easy to grow and come in different varieties. The leaves are so colorful, sometimes showing off 5 or more colors in one leaf; it also comes in a variety of shapes, like round, thin and long, etc. Propagating San Francisco plants are through stem cutting, though I have seen in the internet that they can be grown by leaf. Now-a-days they are called Crotons, maybe because of the new imported varieties. I think they are an amazing plant, even common varieties, can hold up to its own unique beauty either as individual potted plant, or as an accent plant in any garden.
